Baking to die for!

Our first sortie as a drama group into 'write your own' Murder Mystery came to fruition last weekend with sell out houses in both Grendon and Quainton. Conveniently topical, "The Great British Cake Slice" resonated with a famous TV show for some ardent bakers, but nothing prepared the audience for the haminess, (acting or was it the supper) ! Excellent performances by the very talented players, who acted their socks off, baking very convincingly delicious offerings including chocolate and raspberry roulade, brownies, lemon drizzle and cherry cake to name but a few. A first for Quaintwood Players knocking up a Mille Feuille on stage. Very impressive and indeed tasty. Quaintwood Players truly spans the generation with our troupe of performers spanning almost 50 years between youth and experience. We had a lot of laughs writing, rehearsing and performing this and have received much positive feedback from our lively and engaged audiences. We have further bookings for next year and dates will be posted in the near future. If you are interested in a hosting a Murder Mystery event performed by the Quaintwood Players please get in touch.
